Texas-Sized Conversion: U-Haul Acquires Former Speedway Self Storage Facility

JUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- As a new neighbor to Texas Motor Speedway, one of the latest U-Haul stores to open in the Lone Star State is prepared to embrace the need for speed – at least as it pertains to customer service.

U-Haul Company of Texas is pleased to meet the demand for moving and storage needs in Denton County with the opening of its store at 16300 FM 156 S. in Justin. The location is just one mile northwest of the racetrack.

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Justin currently offers more than 550 self-storage units, truck and trailer rentals, moving supplies and boxes. Garner Carey, marketing company president for U-Haul Company of Northwest Dallas, confirmed there is more to come with plans for additional storage, a U-Box warehouse, propane, and hitch and towing installation.

The 6.94-acre property was formerly the site of Speedway Self Storage. There is 70,170 square feet of net rentable storage, including 233 climate-controlled units. There are 49 RV parking spaces available for rent. Julie Burel serves as the store's general manager.
