Storehouse Tea Relocates to #TheHildebrandt Building
Organic Tea Company Known for its Humanitarian Efforts, Including the Employment of Rwandan Refugees and a Campaign to Support Child Refugees in Iraq
CLEVELAND, Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Storehouse Tea, Northeast Ohio's premier hand crafter of Organic and Fair Trade loose leaf tea has joined the growing group of artisan food producers at the historic Hildebrandt Building. The new location will allow for expanded office space, an organic compliant kitchen and a showroom which is open to the public on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
With this move, Storehouse Tea also plans to enhance its community outreach and humanitarian efforts. The company already employs a number of Rwandan refugees as part of its packaging team, and is currently partnering with Back to Jerusalem to produce a special blend called School House Tea, proceeds from which will support the construction of a school in Northern Iraq for Yazidi refugee children displaced by ISIS.
"It's a beautiful thing to watch our refugee employees assemble the Back to Jerusalem teas to help other refugees in Iraq," said Paula Hershman, President and founder of Storehouse Tea. "With this move, not only will we have the ability to produce and distribute more tea, we now have the opportunity to be even more involved in the community."
