VAIL, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/21/16 -- The Steadman Clinic issued the following statement in response to yesterday's announcement by the Steadman Hawkins Clinic-Denver that the facility had joined UCHealth and the University of Colorado School of Medicine:

"This agreement was reached without the knowledge or consent of The Steadman Clinic founder Dr. Richard Steadman, Managing Partner Dr. Marc Philippon or CEO Dan Drawbaugh. We will withhold further comment while reviewing our legal options."
