Specialists On Call Appoints Hammad Shah as Chief Executive Officer

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Specialists On Call, Inc. (“SOC”), the leading provider of specialty telemedicine services to hospitals, today announced the appointment of Hammad Shah as Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”). Mr. Shah’s appointment will strengthen SOC’s capabilities to meet the growing demand for its services and its continued dedication to improved patient care.

Mr. Shah comes to SOC with more than 20 years of strategic, operational and senior administrative experience in healthcare globally. Most recently, he served as President of FreseniusRx, a division of Fresenius Medical Care (NYSE: FMS), where he successfully created a growth strategy that transformed the previously full-service pharmacy into a one of the country’s largest renal specialty pharmacy providing health care expertise to patients living with kidney disease. Prior to joining Fresenius, Mr. Shah held senior management roles in leading pharmacy benefit management companies, including Express Scripts (NASDAQ: ESRX) and CVS Health (NYSE: CVS).

Mr. Shah replaces Dr. Joe Peterson, who will be stepping down as CEO to focus on starting new emerging businesses.
