Siegfried Welcomes New Professionals to its Northeast and West Regions

WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP (Siegfried) recently convened a group of professionals from across the United States at the Westin hotel in Philadelphia for New Hire Orientation.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program introduces professionals to its extraordinary culture, compelling business strategy and interesting work. During the three-day event, new employees learn more about the company, meet members of Siegfried's Leadership and Operations teams, and become acquainted with fellow Professional Resources. Notably, all new employees have the opportunity to meet with Rob Siegfried, Founder and CEO, about Siegfried's higher purpose: We help People become better Leaders to exponentially improve their Lives.

A welcome reception was held in the Westin's Library on the first night of orientation, and later in the week, the group enjoyed a dinner at McCormick & Schmick's and an evening at Lucky Strike bowling alley.

Siegfried is excited to welcome Angelo Chan and Laura Regan to its Northeast region, and Jake Scheffler to its West region.

Angelo Chan, CPA, CAAngelo, a Chartered Professional Accountant, joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. Before joining Siegfried, Angelo was at Deloitte in Toronto and then New York, where he focused mainly on financial institutions.

An enthusiastic and hardworking team player, Angelo likes to come up with exciting and innovative ideas to solve problems and create efficiencies. "I joined Siegfried to gain exposure to a variety of challenging and engaging projects, to provide meaningful value to clients, and work with other highly intelligent people and diligent team members to excel in my career!" he said.

Outside of the office, Angelo participates in a variety of sports, such as badminton, tennis, and swimming. He also likes to travel, and before the warm weather subsides, he plan on learning to surf.

Laura ReganLaura joins the Boston Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried after spending time at PwC and at GE. She earned her Bachelor of Business in accounting from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

Analytical and strategic, Laura is recognized as a leader and exceptional communicator who can effectively motivate and challenge teams to exceed expectations. "I joined Siegfried to be in a client-facing role and have the chance to work in a variety of roles in different industries," she said.

In her free time, Laura loves traveling, experiencing new foods and cultures, and spending time with her friends and family.

Jake Scheffler, CPAJake, a Certified Public Accountant, joins the Los Angeles Market as a Senior Associate. Previously, he gained valuable experience at CohnReznick in Atlanta, focusing on cost certifications for renewable energy properties and low income housing properties; and at EY in Texas, working on biomedical device manufacturing and consumer products. He earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Clayton State University and his Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Georgia State University.

He excels at listening to his clients, understanding the issues, and working collaboratively to find the best solution. Jake said, "I joined Siegfried for the chance to build strong relationships, to work with clients in different industries, and to embrace Siegfried's focus on five-star client service."

Jake enjoys exploring new cities, hiking, going to the gym, running, and supporting the Atlanta Falcons and the San Antonio Spurs.
