Server Technology Inc. (STI), the industry leader for Data Center Power Distribution and Power Management Solutions, announced today that it was the winner of the NCET "Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology" Award for The Technology Company of the Year.
The NCET award for The Technology Company of the Year was based on specific company criteria that includes:
-- A Technology company headquartered in the greater Reno-Tahoe
area in operation for more than 5 years
-- Significant sales/revenue and employee growth
-- A positive effect on the area's technology industry
-- Significant patent, R&D and IP activity
The NCET Awards is an annual event celebrating individuals and companies who have greatly enhanced the growth and prestige of Greater Reno-Tahoe's technology community. Server Technology has the largest single group of Software and Hardware Engineers focused solely on Power Distribution and Power Management product solutions development for data center equipment cabinets. Also, Server Technology's large patent portfolio protects our proprietary designs within the PDU marketplace and reflects on the unique products that Server Technology's customers have come to expect from us.
Server Technology's steady growth path involves expanding its direct sales force and creating new branch offices in the UK, Germany and Singapore. Recently STI also signed a distribution agreement with a major European Union data center equipment manufacturer who will distribute STI's products throughout the EU and Asia markets.
