Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) May 29, 2015

Sennheiser, a leading manufacturer of premium headset solutions, announces that it has signed a distribution agreement with Tech Data to deliver its wireless, DECT and wired unified communications headsets to resellers in Canada.

Tech Data is one of the market's largest distributor, with close to 115,000 reseller partners across the globe. The agreement is part of an overall effort to expand Sennheiser's footprint in office environments, delivering higher quality audio to unified communications environments throughout the country. This is the second distribution agreement that Sennheiser's contact center and office (CC&O) division in Canada has struck within a month's timeframe; Sennheiser CC&O also signed with Run Distribution in April to increase its penetration specific to the Quebec area.

Sennheiser offers an array of noise-canceling models for contact center and office environments, including the new D 10 Series, the SD wireless, Century, Circle, Culture, MB and PRESENCE headsets; plus Sennheiser's new SP 10 and SP 20 speakerphones for unified communications. Products run the gamut from desktop to mobile units, including Bluetooth and USB-based headsets, all of which are compatible with Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business. As a global leader in audio and recording technology, Sennheiser's goal is to introduce higher standards of audio quality and voice intellibility in the contact center, improving the overall performance of any unified communications environment and ultimately increasing ROI for these sophisticated systems.

"We are duly excited to be working with Tech Data throughout the Canadian territories. They offer an extensive value proposition as a distribution partner," said Michael Wyman, national sales manager, telecommunications, Sennheiser Canada. "This relationship represents a major step in Sennheiser CC&O's growth strategy. We want to increase our presence among telecommunications resellers, so more of them begin to understand the role that enhanced audio quality plays in the creation of a truly effective customer engagement. Tech Data can help us grow our loyalty among solutions providers, delivering a superior product option that will elevate any unified communications offering. It also now enables Tech Data to offer their customers a one stop-shop for their communications needs. This is a first, as they have never been able to offer headsets before."
