Division Includes a Total Solutions Group to Unite SANYO's Product Categories, Providing Additional Value to Customers

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO), as a "leading company for energy and environment," a subsidiary of and the North American regional headquarters of SANYO Electric Co., Ltd., announced during the 2009 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo that it is accelerating its "Biomedical & Environmental Solutions" business through a specialty group, designed to provide total solutions packages for a variety of building and lifestyle applications. This includes energy and environmental solutions that boost Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) ratings, a green building rating system.
