Prop. 65 Clearinghouse Announces Chair for 2015 Conference

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 31, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Prop. 65 Clearinghouse is excited to announce that California Deputy Attorney General Harrison Pollak will be the Chair of this year's Prop. 65 Conference. Harrison brings 14 years of experience working in the AG's office on Proposition 65. He has worked on several key cases including People v. Burlington Coat Factory et al. (lead in jewelry), People v. Mattel et al. (lead in toys), People v. Tri-Union et al. (mercury in canned tuna), and People v. Smoking Everywhere (nicotine in electronic cigarettes).

This year's program is geared to help businesses learn how to cope with California's tough toxic law. Experts in the field will cover the newly proposed exposure levels for lead in products, discuss the science behind Prop. 65's naturally occurring exemption, and see if there is any common ground on proposed warning regulations. Conference attendees will also get to meet the new batch of Prop. 65 enforcers and get insight into the risks and rewards of going to trial.

The one-day forum will be held at the Julia Morgan Ballroom at the Merchant Exchange building in the San Francisco Financial District, followed by a cocktail reception.
