RESTON, Va., Dec. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PrecyseTech Corporation ("PrecyseTech") announced today the launch of the inPALMsm Man-Over-Board (MOB) Rescue System using the ALERT2 Man-Overboard Alarm System provided by Emerald Marine Products, a leading marine technology company who will also offer the new inPALMsm MOB Rescue Application.

Marine workers wear PrecyseTech Badge Agents and vests with the ALERT2 Man-Overboard Transmitter which is wirelessly linked to the PrecyseTech Badge Agent (BA) – a personal communication and tracking device. In the event of a man overboard, the ALERT2 and BA notify the inPALMsm MOB Rescue Application at the Control Center and the Rescue Vessels. The PrecyseTech system continuously updates the worker's location in the water and syncs rescue data between all the vessels and the shore-based control centers. The rescue data is also available via NMEA interface to alert a third-party navigation system.

Two systems are offered- inPALMsm MOB Mobile with system equipment temporarily or permanently deployed on a rescue boat, or inPALMsm MOB Enterprise, where all system equipment is installed only on shore. Both system are complementary, use a common architecture and may be integrated inPALMsm. The inPALMsm MoB Mobile and inPALMsm MoB Enterprise systems have a range of about 1 km which can be extended with additional repeaters as required.

The new inPALMsm MOB Rescue App system integrates directly with PrecyseTech's proprietary IIoT network technology. The inPALMsm MOB Rescue App joins the expanding portfolio of inPALMsm cloud and enterprise based asset management and analytics applications services. The inPALMsm MOB Rescue App is currently being used to support the Olmsted Dam project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and is available today, offered with a subscription or purchase plan.

'The new inPALMsm MOB Rescue App offered with Emerald Marine Products continues our strategy building the inPALMsm portfolio of innovative Industrial Internet of Things applications," said Paul B. Silverman, PrecyseTech President and CEO. "Improving worker safety and cost performance are top priorities for our clients and the new inPALMsm application addresses this need in the maritime construction sector," said Silverman.
