Point72 President Douglas D. Haynes to Appear as a Guest on Wall Street Week Sunday, October 25, 2015

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Point72 Asset Management (Point72) President Doug Haynes will appear on Wall Street Week on Sunday, October 25. The show will air nationally on Newsmax TV, and on FOX affiliates in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. The show also streams live on Wall Street Week’s website.

The program, which will air at 9 a.m. EST on Fox in New York, will be the first televised interview given by a Point72 executive, and will cover topics including the changes in Point72’s company culture, the evolution of asset management, and Haynes’ unconventional path to Point72.

About Doug Haynes

Douglas D. Haynes is the President of Point72 Asset Management, L.P., originally joining the Firm as Managing Director of Human Capital in February 2014. Prior to joining Point72, Haynes was a Director at McKinsey & Company. Before joining McKinsey in 1992, Haynes worked for the Central Intelligence Agency and then GE’s advanced materials business, which is now part of Sabic International.

Haynes earned a B.S. summa cum laude in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, and received his MBA at the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate Business School, where he was a Shermet Scholar. He is an active community member, dedicating a significant portion of his efforts to supporting veterans’ initiatives. In addition to serving on the Board of the Robin Hood Foundation, Haynes helped launch its Veterans Advisory Board which raised over $12 million to support veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and also works with New York-based companies to create more job opportunities for veterans. Haynes serves on the Corporate Advisory Board of the Darden Graduate School of Business, the Board of the Canterbury School, SingTel’s Technology Advisory Board, and the Board of the Center for Global Enterprise.
