Point72 Names Rachel D’Antonio Treasurer

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Point72 Asset Management (Point72) named Rachel D’Antonio Treasurer, President Doug Haynes announced today.

As Treasurer, Ms. D’Antonio will be responsible for overseeing equity financing for the Firm, including the Stock Loan function and managing the Firm’s credit counterparty relationships, as well as contract negotiations across products and counterparties. Rachel will continue to perform her current responsibilities as Head of Operations and will report to Tim Shaughnessy, Point72’s Chief Operating Officer.

Ms. D’Antonio joined the Firm in 2004 to manage fixed income operations for the Operations group, and has held progressively senior roles within Operations, rising to her current position as Managing Director and Head of Operations in 2010. In that time, Operations achieved the rare distinction in the hedge fund industry of obtaining an annual SSAE16 (external internal control assessment), recognizing the group’s control infrastructure.

Before she joined Point72, Rachel worked at JPMorgan for nine years as a Vice President managing various middle-office product teams. Rachel earned her BA in International Studies and Economics from Colby College.
