ACEing Autism, a non-profit organization that uses tennis to make a positive impact on the lives of autistic children, is proud to announce a new partnership with PlayYourCourt.

PlayYourCourt is a nationwide mobile tennis that makes tennis more accessible by of-fering convenient tennis lessons to prospective players on their local neighborhood court. Through this partnership PlayYourCourt will donate a portion of every lesson sale to help ACEing Autism enhance the lives of children with autism spectrum disor-ders through the sport of tennis.

While many children with ASD have received traditional therapy, there is a serious void for recreational opportunities and activities. ACEing Autism's tennis programs are designed to benefit children on the Autism spectrum by improving many aspects of their development including health, fitness, hand-eye coordination, motor devel-opment and social skills.

About ACEing Autism
Currently, 1 in 68 children are being diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and there are approximately one million children in the US with this disorder. There is a desperate need for recreational opportunities for children with autism and our or-ganization provides a recreational tennis program for this population.

The ACEing Autism tennis program was created to meet the needs of children with autism who represent a variety of cognitive, social, and physical abilities. Each child will be paired with 1-2 volunteers based on his/her needs. ACEing Autism currently has 39 programs in 15 states and is serving about 500 children on a weekly basis. The program is flexible and can be modified based on each child's skill level, special need and desired activities.
