Pilgram Group Supports Education, Donates a Classic Car

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pilgram Group has joined forces with the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association - Broward Chapter to make the organization's 7th Annual Excellence in Education Gala even more spectacular. The crown jewel of this year's raffle prize is a Classic '91 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance donated by Miguel Pilgram, CEO of the Pilgram Group and New York Subs and Wings.

The rare, Level One Concours car, valued at $25,000, features a 5.7L V8 engine, automatic transmission, power windows, power steering, its original metallic blue paint and carpeting, factory tufted seats, and a Burlwood dashboard.

Only 150 raffle tickets will be sold leading up to the Excellence in Education Gala, which will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 8:30 p.m. at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa, 3030 Holiday Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Tickets are $125 each and can be purchased at frla-excellence-in-education.eventbrite.com. All the proceeds from the ticket sales benefit the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association Education Fund.

In addition to the '91 Cadillac Brougham D'Elegance donated by Pilgram, the winner of the raffle will receive more than $2,000 worth of hotel and restaurant certificates, liquid libations, golf accoutrement and more! Pilgram will also be in attendance at the event to present the winner with the original commemorative gold key Cadillac presented to each buyer.

The 7th Annual Excellence in Education Gala, hosted by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association's Broward Chapter, is designed to support local hospitality education in area high schools. The event will honor, Nicki Grossman, CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau, who is retiring after 21 years. In addition, 101.5 FM's Julie Guy will act as master of ceremonies and Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Ken Lawson will provide the night's keynote speech, "Fired Up for the Future."
