PerkinElmer Prices Offering of Euro-Denominated Senior Notes

WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PerkinElmer, Inc. (NYSE: PKI), a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment, announced today that it has priced an offering of €500 million aggregate principal amount of 1.875% Senior Notes due 2026 at an issue price of 99.118% of the principal amount.

The issuance of the notes is expected to close on July 19, 2016, subject to customary closing conditions. The notes will pay interest on an annual basis.

PerkinElmer plans to use the net proceeds of the offering to reduce the amounts outstanding under its senior unsecured revolving credit facility and for general corporate purposes.

The joint book-running managers for the offering are J.P. Morgan Securities plc and Barclays Bank PLC.

The offering is being made pursuant to an effective registration statement on Form S-3 (including a prospectus) filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).
