PMC Joins Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance Program

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PMC-Sierra, Inc. (PMC®) (NASDAQ: PMCS), the semiconductor and software solutions innovator transforming networks that connect, move and store big data, today announced it has joined the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance partner program. This collaboration reinforces PMC’s commitment to deliver solutions that are seamlessly interoperable with Microsoft products. PMC has been a Microsoft ecosystem development partner, integrating Adaptec-based solutions, for more than 20 years, and this new association strengthens PMC’s collaboration with Microsoft.

As part of the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance program, PMC storage solutions, including SAS and SATA I/O controllers, SAS expanders, Adaptec® RAID adapters and HBAs, and Flashtec™ PCIe solutions and Switchtec™ PCIe Storage switches will be integrated with Microsoft cloud technology. PMC key areas for integration and certification focus will be with Microsoft Windows 10, Hyper-V, Nano, SPACES, and Cloud Platform System.
