Ohio Catholic School Dramatically Improves School Safety With The Addition Of Wireless Panic Button

WHITEHOUSE, Ohio, May 28, 2015  /PRNewswire/ -- Argus Agents, Inc. today announced that the Lial Catholic School has increased school safety by arming their staff with wireless panic buttons.  Manufactured by Tattletale Alarms, these simple but effective panic button systems are becoming a standard fixture in school safety protocols throughout the country.

In order to foster a safer work environment, staff members at banks and hospitals have been using this emergency duress technology for years.  Now schools are increasingly seeing the benefits of using a school panic button for teacher safety as well as the safety of students.

The Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) is encouraging emergency communication systems, like the school panic button, throughout the state to promote school safety in all PK-12 school buildings.  A $2,000 grant is currently available for Ohio Schools via the OSFC for emergency communication upgrades.  One emergency communications unit will be given to all eligible school buildings that apply.
