Jasper, Tenn. (PRWEB) July 25, 2015

O'Neil Color & Compounding (http://www.oneilcolor.com), a leader in color masterbatches and custom compounds for the plastics processing industry, has announced the retirement of company president, Mark Bruner. Bruner is a 38-year veteran of the plastics industry and has been O'Neil's president since 2005. He will be replaced by Doug Borgsdorf, who now assumes duties as the business unit director of O'Neil and Woodruff, both subsidiaries of Primex Plastics Corporation. Borgsdorf was previously president of Plastics Color Corporation and vice president of business development for PMC Global, Incorporated.

Upon his retirement Bruner stated, "It has been a great experience and honor leading O'Neil's growth over the last 10-years and serving as part of the management team of Primex Plastics, our parent. We have a great team of people who have accomplished significant growth since I joined them in 2005."

Bruner started his career in plastics as a sales representative for Shell Chemical in 1976 handling polystyrene and polypropylene customers in the mid-west.

Mike Cramer, President of Primex Plastics, stated, "Mark will surely be missed. His leadership made a significant contribution to O'Neil's growth. We're confident that the addition of Doug to our management team will help take O'Neil to a whole new level of product development, sales increases and service to our customers.
