Northwest Evaluation Association Hits Industry Milestone with Ten Instructional Content Partnerships

June 27, 2016 12:05 AM EDT

Portland, OR (PRWEB) June 27, 2016

Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) announced its 10th partnership with an instructional content provider, Curriculum Crafter, this month, signifying a new milestone for in-depth content integration in the industry. These partnerships allow educators to select appropriate teaching resources from a range of instructional content options including open education resources using a student's RIT score from NWEA's Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment.

The integration of a breadth of instructional content with reliable, accurate MAP data allows teachers to deepen differentiated instruction through MAP Informed Learning Paths. Teachers can personalize instruction for each student with a customized ILP that optimizes the individual student learning experience.

"NWEA believes that assessment should inform instruction," said Matt Chapman, CEO of NWEA. "So we are dedicated to giving educators a wide range of high-quality instructional choices, so that they are able to use the resources best suited for their students' individual needs. This milestone exemplifies our mission, partnering to help all kids learn."

Resources and tools from these Instructional Content Providers are available to more than 7,800 schools, districts, and educational agencies currently using MAP assessments to measure student academic growth.
