Nick Ludlum Promoted to Executive VP & Group Director, Corporate & Public Affairs at Ogilvy Washington

WASHINGTON, May 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Washington announced today that Nick Ludlum has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Group Director, Corporate and Public Affairs.

Ludlum has been at Ogilvy for nearly 10 years. He has extensive public affairs, corporate reputation, B2B, technology, crisis and issues management experience. He leads the agency's North American crisis offering as well as its trade association offering, Association Works. He also is a founding member of Ogilvy PR's planning group, Insight & Strategy.

Ludlum has extensive experience protecting the reputations and advancing the interests of clients across a wide spectrum of industries, including manufacturing, chemicals, food and nutrition, health care, and technology, as well as for sovereign nations.

Prior to joining Ogilvy, Ludlum spent eight years working for Fusion Public Relations. While at Fusion, Ludlum opened and supervised the company's Washington, D.C. office. In this capacity he was responsible for client satisfaction, financial management, human resources and business development. 

Ludlum is a frequent speaker and has given presentations on reputation management at the Corporate Counsel Institute, DMA Nonprofit Conference, Country Strategies Conference, Travel Weekly Mexico City Leadership Summit, Virginia Commonwealth University's Friday Forum series and the Nonprofit Screening Summit. In 2009, Ludlum was named to PR Week's '40 under 40', a list of the "industry professionals who demonstrate the powerful future of the industry."

Ludlum resides in Vienna, VA., and holds a bachelor's degree English from Emory University.
