COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (PRWEB) May 05, 2015

For 17 years, author Frannie Rose could not leave her bed. Stricken with an illness the doctors could not identify, Rose lost all hope that she would ever stand on her own feet again. She contemplated suicide until she surrendered to God and embarked on a spiritual journey.

Rose's inspiring story of triumph over tragedy comes to life in her new book, "The Invitation: Uncovering God's Longing to Be Heard" (published by Balboa Press).

"The Invitation" epitomizes the central message, "They speak of Me, but they do not know Me. They speak at Me but without the space within their hearts to listen." Rose discusses how this message brought her out of her despair and encouraged her to build a better life.

Rose's book reaches out to readers who feel lost or in despair and reminds them that God wishes to talk to them. Rose hopes her book will serve as a reminder that, with God, all good things are possible.

"God wishes to be heard," Rose assures her readers. "We need to create the space in which to hear God."
