Beavercreek, OR (PRWEB) September 02, 2015
Within the pages of Allan R. Mentze's new book, Marco Martinez (EST 1867), ($13.99, paperback, 9781498424400; $6.99, e-book, 9781498424417) readers will discover a story that takes place in the year 1867 – post civil war Arizona – centered around a veteran turned bounty hunter. Marco Martinez, known as the "best bounty hunter this side of the Rockies" is a misplaced and wandering veteran of the American Civil War. He is in search of his share of the legendary dream and to find his purpose after war. He uses all of his efforts to give to the people, what had been taken from him after he lost a beloved sibling. This book is part 1 of III.
"I hope this story conveys the message that you can't allow confidence to grow to the point where you expect to have things go in your direction when you want them to," states the author. "Because the foundation for a successful life is built on trial and error, and not solely confidence."
Allan R. Mentze is a high-level autistic man, who has always enjoyed life, yet found it difficult to fit in with people from today's culture. He thought he could stand out by writing a book that would do the same. He has always had an appreciation for old school material so revitalizing a Western story was a great start. He hopes by writing this first book, will allow him to meet and talk with new people. He has always loved history and enjoys reading novels. With his active imagination and love for telling stories - and a lost job opportunity – he realized that his greatest talent of storytelling was worth more than he was allowing it to do. So with support from friends and family, he wrote this book.
Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world's largest Christian self-publisher, with more than 12,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order Marco Martinez (EST 1867) through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors.
