NAPW Inducts Patti Hommes, Director of Advancement Services, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, a 2015-2016 Professional Woman of the Year Circle

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Patti Hommes as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in business. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Ms. Hommes, Director of Advancement Services at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy has 20 years of experience in the industry, with a focus on fundraising and development for education, healthcare and nonprofit organizations. She has held progressively increasing roles of responsibility supporting capital campaigns ranging from $3 million to $150 million. She excels at and knows the importance of maintaining positive working relationships with team members, organizational staff, volunteers and external constituents.

"My key strengths lie in the implementation, administration and management of internal database systems. I can quickly gain expertise in a particular field and integrate new information with existing knowledge," she said.

With her self-motivation and drive to succeed, Ms. Hommes, who has a Bachelor's degree from Butler University, has honed her skills and areas of expertise to include database management, Blackbaud Solutions, Microsoft Office and OSX. She is an active member of the Association of Advancement Services Professionals, which brings together professionals to share business experiences and learn from one another.

Inspired by a friend and colleague who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, Ms. Hommes is an avid supporter of breast cancer research and education. She participates annually in the Susan G. Komen Philadelphia 3-Day for the Cure event, proudly walking every year in her friend's memory.
