7:00 p.m. - The Prime Minister participates in the launch of the 31st Christmas Lights Across Canada. The annual ceremony will include the illumination of hundreds of thousands of mutlicoloured lights, live performances by Canadian singer Measha Brueggergosman and the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir, a pyrotechnics show, and the launch of an all-new multimedia projection show.

    front of the stage; it is accessible from the east driveway.
