MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets Announces New Mobile Friendly Website with Over 1200 Informational Handouts for Pet Owners

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets announces the re-launch of the organization's website at http://www.medvetforpets.com as the preeminent source for access to veterinary emergency and specialty services at their network of 11 hospitals.

The objectives of the new website are to integrate all locations while providing an easy location finder, to create an enhanced online presence for MedVet's 24/7 emergency service and full complement of veterinary specialists, and to provide referral partners with easy online access to their patients' medical records.

Another important objective for the website is to be responsive and useful on tablets and mobile devices. "In this age of smart phones, we are seeing more clients seeking help and directions using their mobile devices," states SVP of Marketing Dr. Amy Snyder. "We want to make it as easy as possible for pet owners to contact us and find our locations using 'click to call' and 'google maps'." By hitting the red emergency button on the home page the viewer is immediately taken to their nearest location.

The website also gives family veterinarians that refer to MedVet online access to their patients' medical records, bloodwork, surgery reports and radiographs through the "MedVet Referral Partner Portal." "MedVet prioritizes communication with our referring veterinary partners in order to provide the best care for their patients and clients," says Snyder.

The website is also an educational experience for referring veterinarians and pet owners. Over 1,200 up-to-date client handouts on medical symptoms, diseases and drugs are available to print at the touch of a button. The site also offers a professional library of information useful to practicing veterinarians.

The culmination of a nine-month planning and development process, MedVet launched phase one of its new website (http://www.medvetforpets.com.com) on December 5th.
