McGuffin Creative Group Announces 2016 McGuffin Grant Recipient

CHICAGO, July 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- McGuffin Creative Group, an advertising and communications agency based in Chicago's West Loop, has awarded the Chicago-based nonprofit Purple Asparagus the 2016 McGuffin Grant.

The organization was chosen among dozens of qualified applicants to receive $25,000 in creative strategies and design solutions from McGuffin.

For nearly a decade, Purple Asparagus has fought increasingly high rates of childhood obesity and metabolic disorders in Chicago through elementary school programs. The organization provides children with basic nutritional education and introduces them at an early age to the types of foods that promote good health.

Through its work with McGuffin, Purple Asparagus hopes to expand its reach to schools in Chicago and beyond, amplifying the organization's impact.

Now in its sixth year, the McGuffin Grant was created to provide one nonprofit organization each year free access to McGuffin's team of designers, copywriters and strategists. The agency's work is determined by the client's needs and goals, which can include the creation of marketing campaigns that overcome specific challenges.
