TOANO, Va., April 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lumber Liquidators (NYSE: LL), the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in North America, has provided Ohio-based Adaptive Homes with approximately 1,400 square feet of flooring to use in a new home for a deserving veteran.

Adaptive Homes helps provide and secure affordable housing for disabled veterans and their families, and assist in their return to civilian life and independent living. Lumber Liquidators' donation will provide hardwood flooring throughout the home being built for a retired U.S. Marine and his wife in Sunbury, Ohio. "Lumber Liquidators' donation will help us provide a home for a truly deserving veteran," said Katie Filbrun, executive director of Adaptive Homes. "The home we're building has really brought the community together and wouldn't be possible without the generosity of partners and people willing to give back."
