Life Insurance Industry Leaders to Meet in Chicago, Oct. 18-20

WASHINGTON, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI) Annual Conference will draw U.S. life insurance industry leaders to Chicago, IL, Oct. 18-20. The conference at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers will explore how the industry is addressing key legislative, regulatory and economic issues.

Attended annually by more than 500 life insurance executives from the world's leading life insurance companies, the ACLI Annual Conference is the premier meeting for an industry that helps millions of Americans meet their financial and retirement security goals.

Building on the meeting's theme, Foundation for the Future, ACLI Chairman Patrick Baird, President and CEO, AEGON USA Inc., and ACLI President and CEO Frank Keating, will explore the unique role the industry is playing in protecting Americans' financial futures during these difficult economic times. During the conference, Mr. Baird will pass the ACLI chairmanship to C. Robert Henrikson, Chairman, President and CEO of MetLife.
