LaserShip Relocates to its Largest Distribution Center

LaserShip, a regional parcel carrier that services the eastern U.S., moved out of their East Rutherford, New Jersey distribution center and into their largest distribution center yet in Belleville, New Jersey this past weekend. They began operating out of Belleville this past Saturday. The move comes as a result of the e-commerce growth in the New York area.

"Our retailers are forecasting significant online shopping growth in the New York metro area and as a result we are expanding our infrastructure to meet those demands. This new location will provide additional capacity and throughput for our same-day and ground delivery solutions, seven days a week," said Josh Dinneen, Senior Vice President of LaserShip.

LaserShip currently services 22 states and Washington, D.C. and has 62 distribution centers. The Belleville distribution center is three times larger than the East Rutherford location. LaserShip moved 10 facilities between July and October of this year.
