Kratos Delivers Third-Generation Launchers to Support U.S. Army Drone Requirements

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 25, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq: KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Defense & Rocket Support Services (DRSS) Division’s Madison Research Corporation (Kratos-MRC) has partnered with Robonic Ltd Oy (a subsidiary of Safran Electronics & Defense of Finland) to deliver Robonic’s third-generation launcher to support U.S. Army drone requirements. Under the Kratos-MRC prime contract, Kratos-MRC and Robonic will deliver two KONTIO launchers to the U.S. Army PEO STRI Targets Management Office (TMO), which will be used to launch Firejet high-performance aerial targets supplied by Kratos-MRC sister company Composite Engineering, Inc. (CEi).
