Montreal, Quebec (PRWEB) November 19, 2015

Today, SpyCup launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise 5000 over 30 days for manufacturing of their eponymous product – a device that looks like a regular coffee mug but isn't.

The company's Kickstarter page is viewable here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/spycup/spycup-turns-your-iphone-into-a-hidden-camera.

Spycup allows a user to insert and conceal an iPhone 5 or 6 using one way, see through glass that completely hides the phone while preserving the video quality. It is now available on Kickstarter for as low as $21.

It comes with a remote video shutter that allows a user to discreetly take photographs or videos. SpyCup, was built based on the premise that some of the most interesting and important things to film are also the most challenging.

SpyCup is the brainchild of Ildar Khakimov. He created the product after trying to film the annual slaughter of dolphins in Japan and subsequently being questioned by the Japanese police.

"SpyCup has prompted strong reactions from some people. A number have said it is the creepiest iPhone accessory ever. However I created the device to give people the power and ability to record significant events, while minimizing their risk of being noticed. I believe that SpyCup can revolutionize citizen journalism and complement recording and streaming apps, such as Periscope," said Khakimov

Features:

   •  Hidden camera
   •  iPhone protector
   •  Image stabilization
   •  Sound recording
   •  Remote trigger that lets you activate camera from 30 ft away

SpyCup Kickstarter campaign runs from November 19, 2015 until January 19, 2016. For a full rundown of the pledge levels visit https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/spycup/spycup-turns-your-iphone-into-a-hidden-camera.
