Junior Library Guild Provides Lexile Measures to Over 21,000 Libraries

DURHAM, NC -- (Marketwired) -- 04/27/16 -- MetaMetrics®, developer of the widely adopted Lexile® Framework for Reading, is pleased to announce its partnership with Junior Library Guild. Junior Library Guild is a collection development and book review service that distributes books to thousands of schools and public libraries. By licensing and integrating the Lexile® Titles Database, Junior Library Guild will feature Lexile® measures for books in their collection.

Junior Library Guild is a unique collection development service that reviews and selects children's and young adult books prior to their publication. New-release JLG selections are placed into one of 73 categories ranging from Prekindergarten to Adult Crossover and are then shipped to member libraries on a monthly basis.
