NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- National Holdings Corporation (OTCBB: NHLD), a full service investment banking holding company, announced today the appointment of Jason Kolbert as a Managing Director and the Head of Healthcare Research for its subsidiary broker dealer, National Securities Corporation. Prior to joining National Securities, Kolbert was the senior biotechnology analyst and Managing Director at Think Equity. Kolbert has over 20 of years of experience in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. Early in his career as a health care strategist at Salomon Smith Barney he integrated the views of pharma, biotech, specialty pharma and services analyst into a comprehensive strategy for portfolio managers. From there Mr. Kolbert joined Susquehanna International group as a fund manager and later founded Susquehanna healthcare efforts in the biotechnology space.
