The PersonalityMatch app, which is free to download, reveals and analyses personality types and shows easy ways to improve relationships.

Developed by Dutch tech entrepreneur Johan Hagenbeuk, it involves three simple steps: taking the free personality test, inviting a friend to do the same, and finally letting the app match both results.

The personality test asks nearly thirty questions about life attitude, work and people. The app then reveals the user's personality type and gives a detailed personality profile.

What makes the app unique, and sets it apart from anything else on the market, is its sharing capability. This lets the user invite others partners, friends, colleagues, family members etc - to take the test and then compare results to produce a compatibility score from 0% to 100%.

What's more, the app provides a detailed breakdown of the personality match also identifying potential areas of conflict and suggests how these can be resolved to improve the relationship.

"The inspiration for this app came from my interest in personal growth," explains Johan. "I discovered that, while there is a lot of information about personality types, there is much less on how these types can best interact."

"It occurred to me that knowing and understanding someone else's personality type could be very powerful in regards to personal development. Finding out why you come into conflict with your partner or anybody else you have an important relationship with then discovering how to solve that conflict, could be life-changing."

The app is ready to come to market after an exhaustive testing process, which Johan says demonstrated its huge potential:

"When we tested the app we found that people were getting to the root of problems and difficulties that, in many cases, had been stretching back years," he says. "People were really happy when they realized their problems were caused by basic personality differences and that, with a bit of work on both sides, they could be solved. It's incredible and I'm proud to have created something that will help people improve their lives and relationships."
