PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 10, 2015

"I have to walk with crutches for the rest of my life," said an inventor from San Diego, Calif. "I am one of 6.1 million Americans who live this way. Anything that would give me more independence and freedom would be amazing. This inspired me to invent a way to use my crutches without having to use my hands."

He developed the STRAP IN to enable an individual to walk with crutches without having to use his or her hands. The accessory frees hands to do other things, which makes it easier to multitask while using crutches. This provides greater freedom and independence. It also reduces sweat and ensures that the individual is comfortable. Furthermore, the invention is easy to use. It secures the crutch to its user without any effort. It also could help reduce falls for in-patients in the hospital.

The original design was submitted to the San Diego office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
