Greenfield Insurance Group Initiates Community Involvement Program in Orange City, FL and Launches Campaign to Provide Therapy for Local Boy with Autism and Blindness

February 11, 2016 8:04 AM EST

Orange City, FL (PRWEB) February 11, 2016

Greenfield Insurance Group in Orange City, FL has announced the commencement of a master charity program created to assist the people of their local community. The agency pledges to select a new beneficiary every 60 days, working closely with nonprofit organizations and community leaders. Their hope is to bring awareness to important local causes with fundraising and other support, by forming campaigns which aid worthwhile local programs, families or individuals.

To debut their new community enrichment program, Teresa Greenfield, the agency's owner, has chosen to introduce a local boy named Grayson, who suffers from severe, harmful outbursts due to autism and blindness. Grayson's hard-working single mother, Monica, has struggled for years to help her beloved son control his behavioral issues. Three years ago, he became eligible to receive ABA therapy, which changed their lives tremendously and allowed Grayson to live a calmer, safer, happier life. Unfortunately, when Monica graduated from nursing school, federal funding for Grayson's therapy was withdrawn, and private insurances don't cover the costly ABA.

"We truly hope to pull together support for those who need it most with our new community involvement program," said Greenfield. "We're honored to begin by fundraising for Grayson, so that this very special young man may continue his incredible progress. We hope all the compassionate members of our community will rally behind this neighbor in need."

The donations page for each featured campaign will be accompanied by a fully detailed story outlining the cause. The team at Greenfield Insurance Group will also spread the word through it's own vast network of customers, business associates, neighbors and friends. To join the agency in support of Grayson's life-changing therapy, donors may visit https://www.gofundme.com/abaforgrayson and are asked to share the page with their own personal and professional networks. Greenfield Insurance also produces a monthly publication, Our Hometown magazine, which will reserve a full page highlighting each selected Community Cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://greenfieldins.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.
