Greenberg Traurig Mexico Ranked in Band 1 in Inaugural Compliance Section of 2015 Chambers Latin America Guide

International law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP is ranked in Band 1 for Compliance in Mexico in the 2015 Chambers and Partners Latin America Guide. This is the first time Chambers ranked the compliance practice in the Mexico section of the guide. In addition to the firm ranking, the guide names firm shareholder Hugo López Coll as a Notable Practitioner in Band 1. Lopez Coll heads the Compliance Department in the firm's Mexico City office.

According to Chambers, Greenberg Traurig's Mexico team is a "highly respected practice group advising a broad range of multinationals on all aspects of anti-corruption compliance programmes in line with international laws and practices including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). Team offers a wide variety of services in corruption-related M&A due diligence, internal investigations, risk assessments and anti-corruption training."

Mexico Associate Hector Sanchez was also named in the ranking. Chambers notes: [He] "is praised by sources who describe him as 'very solid and very detail-oriented.' They add: 'He executes work and tasks very well.'"
