Goldman Sachs Asset Management to Host MLP Market Update Conference Call for Goldman Sachs MLP Income Opportunities Fund (GMZ) and Goldman Sachs MLP and Energy Renaissance Fund (GER)

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Goldman Sachs Asset Management (“GSAM”) will host a master limited partnership (“MLP”) market update conference call for the Goldman Sachs MLP Income Opportunities Fund (GMZ) and Goldman Sachs MLP and Energy Renaissance Fund (GER) (together, the “Funds”) on August 12, 2015 at 4:15 PM (Eastern Time) with each Fund’s Portfolio Managers, Kyri Loupis and Ganesh Jois. During the call, Kyri and Ganesh will discuss the recent market environment as well as GSAM’s long-term outlook for investing in U.S. energy. The Goldman Sachs MLP Income Opportunities Fund and the Goldman Sachs MLP and Energy Renaissance Fund trade on the NYSE under the symbols “GMZ” and “GER,” respectively.

The Funds

Each Fund is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company managed by GSAM’s Energy & Infrastructure Team, which is among the industry’s largest MLP investment groups. The Goldman Sachs MLP Income Opportunities Fund began trading on the NYSE on November 25, 2013, and the Goldman Sachs MLP and Energy Renaissance Fund began trading on the NYSE on September 26, 2014.

Each Fund seeks a high level of total return with an emphasis on current distributions to shareholders. The Goldman Sachs MLP Income Opportunities Fund invests primarily in MLP investments.
