Glenville, New York, Selects Suite of Solutions from Tyler Technologies

Incode and EnerGov to modernize and integrate financial, permitting and inspection processes

PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with the town of Glenville, New York, for Tyler’s Incode® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution for financial and utility management, and its EnerGov™ platform for permit and inspection management. The agreement includes software licensing, implementation, project management and support. The town used the existing National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) contract to procure the Tyler solutions.

With its legacy financial system nearing end of life, Glenville needed a new system to automate manual processes and more closely align departments. The town’s finance team worked with the Glenville Efficiency in Government Committee to identify a long-term technology partner that could keep pace with the town’s growth and expanding demand for services from residents and businesses.

After reviewing several solutions, the town selected Tyler for its robust technology framework and functionality. By implementing Incode, Glenville will automate several processes within financial management, purchasing and personnel management functions. Incode will also help the town modernize utility billing, including online access for managing water and sewer services.

EnerGov will help enhance interdepartmental collaboration for community development and property development for functions such as zoning, permitting and code inspection services. EnerGov will also give staff real-time data access while in the field with mobile devices.

The town of Glenville has approximately 30,000 residents and is about 25 miles northwest of Albany.
