GOL Announces Notice to the Market

SAO PAULO, Oct. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. ("GLAI"), (BM&FBOVESPA: GOLL4 and NYSE: GOL), (S&P: CCC, Fitch: CC and Moody's: Caa3), Brazil's largest air transportation group announces today that it received earlier this year a request from Brazilian tax authorities in connection with an audit to furnish information regarding certain expenditures made by the Company in 2012 and 2013. As a result, GOL commenced an internal inquiry and recently retained independent advisers to investigate the circumstances of these payments. This independent investigation is still at a very early stage.  GOL is cooperating with the tax authorities.
