Franklin County, PA (PRWEB) November 30, 2015

Give back this holiday season! Join the 11/30 Network, Franklin County's young professionals, in sharing the spirit of giving. The 11/30 Network plans to honor and thank first responders on Franklin County First Responders Appreciation Day, December 18, with special care packages of baked goods, treats, and hoagies. Local elementary school students are joining the county-wide project by making thank you cards for each care package.

Get involved! Everyone can participate. The 11/30 Network is seeking volunteers and donations to make Appreciation Day a success.

TO VOLUNTEER
With 70 locations slated to receive care packages, 11/30 Network needs volunteers to distribute the care packages. Volunteers will be divided into groups for delivery during the afternoon of Friday, December 18, with each group assigned to locations within a small geographic area of the county. To volunteer as an individual or group, contact Amy Fisher at 717-264-7101, Ext. 204. If signing up as a group, identify a Team Captain to act as main point of contact. Volunteers may request a specific community to deliver packages, and 11/30 Network will do its best to oblige.

TO DONATE
Lots of goodies are needed to fill the care packages. Any business, organization, or community group interested in donating food platters (i.e. donuts, bagels, cookies, subs, etc.), gift cards or monetary funds to purchase care package items, complete the donation form here and return it no later than December 15.
