Election 2016: The World Votes

June 29, 2016 8:35 AM EDT

BOSTON, June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, an unprecedented, worldwide event will take place at the Boston Harbor Hotel.  "The World Votes," is a Global Voting Event and Press Conference hosted by Web-Impac Applications and Software as part of their international launch and the introduction of their first two products, the "Star-Points Voter Button" and the "This or That" tool.

Web-Impac (http://webimpac.com), a division of Hampton Bates Public Relations, is an impressive, new player in the internet applications and software industry.  With this event, they mark the first time in history that the entire internet world will have the opportunity to vote either Republican or Democrat in a virtual American election that features Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, the final contenders in the 2016 race for the White House.

As this year's campaign season has shaped up to be a strongly partisan affair, the eyes of the world have been laser-focused on American politics.  Now people around the world will have their voices heard as they weigh in on this election battle.

The virtual polls will be open from Tuesday, July 12, 2016 through Friday, September 30, 2016; giving participants several weeks to cast their votes.   The winner will be announced at an online Facebook Press Conference on Tuesday, October 3, 2016.  Early voting will be available onsite at the event.

"The World Votes," Press Conference is a bi-partisan event that will feature politicians, media representatives, business and community leaders, from throughout the New England area.  Invited guest speakers include Governor Charlie Baker, Massachusetts, Governor Maggie Hassan, New Hampshire, Mayor Jack Blalock, Portsmouth, NHand Mayor Marty Walsh, Boston, Mass.

They will be joined by Web-Impac co-founders, brother and sister, Captain Eric Robinson, former pilot and Chief Strategist for Web-Impac, and Sylvia Hampton, CEO of public relations powerhouse, Hampton Bates and President of Web-Impac Applications and Software.  Also in attendance will be Web-Impac's Management Team: Glenn Graham, Chief Information Officer; Matt Randall, Business Strategy, Tommy Morris, Business Development, and Sherry Tucker Brown, Senior Consultant.   Jacqueline Knight, VP of Marketing will not be in attendance.

The "This or That" software application, which is being used to collect and tally votes during "The World Votes," Global Virtual Voting Event (www.votethisorthat.com), is a robust information management tool that collects data for marketing research purposes.  This dynamic software enables its users to measure consumer response to any product or service in real-time; much the same as having an online virtual focus group.  You can place the "This or That" button on your website to get direct feedback from your visitors about your product or service, or you can use the "This or That" tool to get comparison feedback between your product or service and your competitor(s).

This world premiere event is open to the press and will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Boston Harbor Hotel, South Atlantic Room, 70 Rowes Wharf, Boston, MA 02110.  Light refreshments will be served.  Seating is limited, so those planning to attend this event and press conference should RSVP to Sylvia Hampton through Email or 603-570-4816.
