Elastra Announces Support for Building LAMP Stacks With Elastra Cloud Server
SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Elastra Corporation, the leading provider of application infrastructure automation software, today announced expanded support for PHP 5.1.6 for users of Elastra Cloud Server. The latest update to Elastra's Cloud Server enables application architects and developers to rapidly create and configure LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP 5.1.6) stacks on Amazon EC2 and internally on virtualization platforms like VMware.
"Once the user clicks deploy our software automates the entire process from provisioning, installation, and configuration. From start to finish our software does it in 10 minutes whereas an equivalent manual process could take up to 2 hrs. That's valuable time and money developers can now spend on building real value for their company instead of wasting it on time consuming repetitive tasks," said Peter Chiu, Director of Product Management for Elastra.
The PHP support is available for free for users of Elastra for AWS.
