Dynasil's RMD Subsidiary Awarded $3.8 Million in Technology Development Grants by NASA, National Institute of Health and Department of Energy

NEWTON, Mass., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Dynasil Corporation of America (NASDAQ: DYSL) today announced that its contract research subsidiary, RMD Inc., has received six grants totaling $3.8 million under the NASA, National Institute of Health and Department of Energy's funding programs.

These awards focus on the development of advanced radiation detectors for NASA's space exploration missions, biotechnology for the National Institute of Health, and new radiation detection materials to assist the Department of Energy's scientific research programs.
