Detusche Bank downgraded News Corp (NYSE: NWS) and Viacom (NYSE: VIA) from Buy to Hold.
The firm said, "The macroeconomic news from the past few weeks has been disturbing, both domestic and int’l. While it has been our view over the past year that national TV advertising would hold up in 2008, we now do not believe that will be the case for 2009."
The firm also cut estimates on CBS (NYSE: CBS), Disney (NYSE: DIS) and Time Warner (NYSE: TWX).
