MANCHESTER, United Kingdom - May 11, 2016 - Pentair plc (NYSE: PNR) announced a correction to the press release issued on May 10, 2016 entitled "Pentair Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend." The press release incorrectly stated that the company will pay a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per share on August 5, 2016 to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 22, 2016. The corrected statement is as follows:
Pentair will pay a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.34 per share on August 5, 2016 to shareholders of record at the close of business on July 22, 2016.
Pentair had previously announced on December 8, 2015 the approval by its Board of Directors to pay dividends in 2016 in four quarterly installments of $0.33 in each of the first and second quarters and $0.34 in each of the third and fourth quarters. 2016 will mark the 40th consecutive year that Pentair has increased its dividend.
