Center for Infectious Disease Research Launches “Become the Cure” Bumbershoot Ticket Raffle

Prizes include 100-person VIP party at Bumbershoot and 3-Day VIP Passes to the music festival

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, the Center for Infectious Disease Research, the official nonprofit partner of Bumbershoot, launched a “Become the Cure” raffle for a chance to win exclusive Bumbershoot experiences.

“Become the Cure” raffle tickets can be purchased for $25 and each ticket purchased enters contestants for a chance to win the grand prize, a 100-person VIP party at Bumbershoot on the day of the contestant’s choosing. Ten second-place prizes of 3-day VIP Bumbershoot passes will also be given away.

Additionally, the first 150 people to purchase the “4 Raffle Tickets + 1-Day Bumbershoot Pass” option will receive a free one-day pass to any single day of Bumbershoot.

“We are excited our partnership with Bumbershoot has allowed us to host this raffle that will help fund transformative scientific advancements that lead to the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases,” said Edward Jenkins, director of marketing and communications at the Center for Infectious Disease Research.

This is the first year Bumbershoot has partnered with a nonprofit organization and this collaboration will help spread awareness of global health and infectious disease research throughout the greater Seattle community.
