HAUPPAUGE, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 06/30/15 -- This year celebrate American independence at the Tall Ships Festival July 4-7 at Greenport, Long Island. The festival will feature six massive, classically-rigged vessels including a replica of L'Hermione, the French frigate used by the Marquis de Lafayette to travel to America in support of the American Revolution.

L'Hermione will be anchored and available for tours July 6 and 7. Five other tall ships will be available for tours July 4-7: the Picton Castle, the Sagras, the Lynx, the AJ Meerwald, the Kal Mar Nyckel. Advance tickets are offered but not required.
