Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Adds Stephen Parish To Its Growing Investment Banking and Capital Markets Business

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. announced today that Stephen Parish is joining the firm as Head of Equity Capital Markets within the Investment Banking Group. Mr. Parish, who spent most of his career at Bear Stearns, will be responsible for enhancing Cantor's equity and equity linked origination efforts.

Previously, Mr. Parish was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns and played a key role in the firm's equity capital markets activities. He was Global Head of the Equity Transactions Group and oversaw the successful completion of hundreds of equity transactions. Recently, Mr. Parish served as a senior advisor to Fletcher Asset Management.

Cantor Fitzgerald added nearly a hundred sales and trading professionals in 2008 and another 125 new strategic hires since the first of this year.
