Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. Adds Stephen Antczak to Head Its Corporate Strategy Team
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. announced today that Stephen Antczak has joined the firm as a Managing Director and will head the Corporate Strategy team. In this role Mr. Antczak will develop investment strategies for Cantor clients in the corporate credit and equity markets, with an emphasis on identifying cross-market and capital structure investment opportunities. Mr. Antczak will provide clients a suite of strategy offerings including market commentary, product notes, seminars, valuation and hedging models, and trade ideas.
Mr. Antczak said, "All markets are inter-connected to some extent, and developments in one can have a profound impact on valuations in another. These relationships are often under-analyzed. I believe that we have an exciting and distinctive opportunity at Cantor to create a product that is uniquely valuable to our clients by examining risks and valuations in a way that others do not."
"Adding a professional of Stephen's caliber, with his extensive industry knowledge and expertise in the marketplace, further illustrates our commitment to being a client focused firm," said Shawn Matthews, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. "We are extremely happy to have Stephen and his team on board to develop our capital structure research model which we believe is the focus of our customer," concluded Mr. Matthews.
Mr. Antczak has worked in a strategy capacity for more than 14 years across a broad range of asset classes, including the government bond, high-grade corporate, leveraged finance, structured finance, and equity markets. Prior to joining Cantor, he headed the Leveraged Finance Strategy team at UBS. Earlier he was a senior strategist at Merrill Lynch, and also worked at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics as an economist.
Mr. Antczak recently co-authored Leveraged Finance: Concepts, Methods, and Trading of High-Yield Bonds, Loans, and Derivatives with Douglas Lucas and Frank Fabozzi, and earned a ranking on Institutional Investor's All-American Research Team. In addition, Mr. Antczak is an Adjunct Professor at Baruch University and Fordham University. Stephen graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. and an M.B.A and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Jung Lee will also be a member of the Corporate Research and Strategy team. Previously Ms. Lee worked at UBS as an associate strategist on the Leveraged Finance Strategy team. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science, majoring in finance and science engineering.
